Connect your Canvas

Nothing is changed in your Canvas account — Waypoint can only read.

Where to find it

In Canvas: Account → Settings → New Access Token. Canvas shows it once, so copy it before closing.

Where it goes

If you are logged in, it is saved to your account so you do not have to type it again on another device. It is encrypted before it is stored, and never shown to anyone but you. If you are not logged in it stays in this browser only. You can delete the token in Canvas at any time and Waypoint immediately goes blind, or forget it here from your settings.

By connecting you agree to the terms and privacy policy. Waypoint can only read — it cannot change anything in your Canvas account.

Rather not make a token?

Schools can turn on a proper sign-in button, and they do it when students ask. Say which school is yours and it gets counted.

Email and Canvas address only. Nothing else is collected.
